The 11-Minute Fitness Challenge: Start Small, Keep It Moving

Sep 16, 2026

Let me ask you something…

How many times have you told yourself, “I really need to start exercising again,” only to follow it with, “But I just don’t have the time”?

Yep. I know that one.

Life gets busy. Work gets busy. Family gets busy. And somewhere along the way, taking care of yourself gets shoved to the bottom of the list.

Again.

And again.

And again.

But here's the thing I want you to consider:

What if you didn't need an hour?

What if you didn't need a gym?

What if you didn't need fancy equipment, a perfect schedule, or a giant burst of motivation?

What if you just needed 11 minutes?

That's exactly why I created the 11-Minute Keep It Moving Fitness Challenge.

What Is the 11-Minute Fitness Challenge?

The 11-Minute Fitness Challenge is a FREE, online fitness challenge designed to help you get moving without the pressure, intimidation, and “go hard or go home” mentality.

We're keeping it simple.

We're keeping it doable.

And we're definitely keeping it moving.

The challenge combines simple strength and cardio movements designed to get your body moving and your heart pumping. Modifications are provided, so you can work at a level that makes sense for your body.

You don't have to be fit before you start.

You don't have to know what you're doing.

And you don't have to punish yourself to make progress.

You just need 11 minutes.

Who Is This Challenge For?

Well…

You.

Especially if you're a woman in midlife or beyond who has gotten away from regular exercise and isn't quite sure how to get back into it.

Maybe you've been busy taking care of everyone else.

Maybe you've experienced an injury, illness, surgery, or burnout.

Maybe your energy isn't what it used to be.

Maybe your body doesn't move quite the way it used to.

Or maybe you've simply fallen out of the habit of exercising.

And perhaps you've looked at your old workout routine and thought:

“Nope. Not doing that anymore!!”

And that's okay!

You don't need to go backward.

You need to figure out what works for the body you have today.

The challenge is also for women who feel intimidated by fitness.

Maybe you've never really exercised before.

Maybe you've tried workout programs that made you feel like you weren't doing enough.

Maybe you've started a dozen times and stopped a dozen times.

Or maybe you've convinced yourself that if you can't commit to a 30-, 45-, or 60-minute workout, there's no point.

Well, I'm calling BS on that.

There is absolutely a point.

Eleven Minutes Counts

This is something I want you to remember:

Movement counts.

Eleven minutes counts.

A few squats count.

Strength training counts.

Getting your heart rate up counts.

Stretching counts.

Walking counts.

And perhaps most importantly…

Starting counts.

We often think we need motivation before we take action.

But sometimes it's the other way around.

Action creates momentum.

You don't have to feel motivated to begin.

You just have to be willing to give yourself eleven minutes.

And that's where this challenge comes in.

We're Taking the Guesswork Out of It

One of the biggest barriers to exercise isn't always the exercise itself.

Sometimes it's figuring out what the heck you're supposed to do.

What workout?

What exercises?

How long?

How often?

What equipment?

Am I doing this right?

Do I need to sweat buckets for it to count?

Ugh.

Who needs that?

The 11-Minute Fitness Challenge takes much of that guesswork off your plate.

You show up.

I give you the movement.

You modify when you need to.

And you keep moving.

That's it.

No complicated choreography.

No fitness Olympics.

No need to prove anything to anybody.

And absolutely no requirement to be perfect.

Welcome to the No-Perfection Policy

Around here, we have something called the No-Perfection Policy.

Because perfection is exhausting.

And frankly, it's overrated.

You might have a fantastic day.

You might have a day where your body says, “Um…we're doing the gentle version today.”

You might miss a workout.

You might need to modify.

You might have to start over.

That's life.

The goal isn't perfection.

The goal is consistency and momentum.

Small steps add up.

And sometimes the smallest step is simply deciding:

“Today, I'm going to give myself 11 minutes.”

Why Join the Challenge?

Because maybe you've been waiting for the perfect time to take care of yourself.

Here's a little secret:

There is no perfect time.

There's only the time you decide you're worth it.

Eleven minutes can give you an opportunity to reconnect with your body.

To build strength.

To move your joints.

To elevate your heart rate.

To improve your confidence.

And perhaps most importantly, to remind yourself that your health matters.

I'm not promising that five days will magically transform your body.

That's not how this works.

But five days can help you prove something to yourself:

You can start.

And once you start, you can build from there.

Your Future Self Is Watching

I believe our future selves are watching the little choices we make today.

Not the dramatic ones.

The little ones.

The decision to take the stairs.

The decision to go for a walk.

The decision to stretch instead of sitting on the couch for another hour.

The decision to lift something a little heavier.

The decision to spend eleven minutes moving your body.

Those choices matter.

Because fitness isn't just about what your body looks like.

It's about what your body allows you to do.

It's about strength.

Mobility.

Confidence.

Energy.

Independence.

And being able to participate in your own life.

That's what I'm interested in.

Eleven minutes is long enough to matter and short enough to start.

Stop waiting until you have more time.

Stop waiting until you're more motivated.

Start where you are.

Give me eleven minutes.

And let's get moving.
